Outdoor Code

"As an American , I will do my best to:
  Be clean in my outdoor manners;
  Be careful with fire;
  Be considerate in the outdoors and
  Be conservation-minded."

As part of joining the Boy Scout Of America you must understand and agree to live by the the Outdoor Code and be able to recite it.
